Kundalini yoga is called the yoga of awareness, awakening the full potential of human awareness in each individual to recognize, refine and expand their unlimited selfs. In creating the power to deeply listen we cultivate inner stillness, prospering and delivering excellence in all we do.
The focus of Kundalini Yoga is on one's own personal experience. Through the practice of awakening the Kundalini energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine we call upon the full potential of the nervous and glandular systems to balance the chakras or energy centers within the body.
“Kriya” is an orchestrated pattern of movements, sounds, pranayam, mudras, concentration and meditation that guide the energies of the body and mind to a shift or change of consciousness, to awaken the power of each individual to excel – to experience their Infinity and fulfill their personal destiny.
There are many things in life that are beyond our control. However it is possible to take responsibility for our own state of mind and make positive changes. Meditation is a means of transforming the mind, practicing techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity and a calmness that enables us to see or find your true nature of spirit. By engaging in a meditation practice one learns a means of cultivating new positive ways of being. Through a regular practice it is possible to deepen your awareness into a profoundly peaceful and energized state
“It is not meditation that stops the mind. It is the surrender of the mind to the soul, and the soul to the Truth. It is when you prefer the word of Truth to the word of your own intellect.”
Prana is the life force. Ayama means to regulate or lengthen. Prana flows through subtle energy channels called nadis and energy centers called chakras. When our prana is flowing in a continuos smooth and steady flow the mind remains positive and enthusiastic.
Pranayama is a practice of working with different breath techniques to promote more oxygenation to the blood and brain purifying toxins and revitalizing the body. Practiced regularly under the right supervision pranayama brings harmony between the body mind and spirit.
“Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts.”

After attending a Life Force Immersion Retreat with Jai Dev Singh in Nevada City California I knew this was going to be life changing for me as it resonated with my soul so deeply. It was so Illuminating and my body felt so great. My own personal practice has allowed me to cultivate this inner stillness and strength. Being an Ayurvedic practitioner I was even more drawn to this ancient yogic science because it is a lifestyle with teachings of daily routines and diet similar to Ayurveda . I am able to incorporate both Ayurveda & Kundalini Yoga into my classes and can customize a personal practice for a individual according to there Dosha (Ayurvedic Constitution). Close your eyes and look into your soul as you move to the beautiful Gurmukhi music and fall in love with these ancient yogic teachings.
